Health Achievements

In 2002 the Centre established a clinic and followed up subsequently with two clinics in Zherugba and Keffi Wambai.  Since this period 12, 558 children have been Immunize against the six killer diseases and provided routine medicine services to 53,250 patients. During the period under review also, three clinics provided anti-natal care services and information to 4,296 pregnant women from which 82 numbers of deliveries were received.

In 2005, the Centre established VCT Centre into full counseling and testing services. In addition, the unit has been involved in different communities out reaches to provide information and VCT services.  During the period under review, 3,936 persons received CSM vaccination; the laboratory wing of the clinic carried out 2,662 lab tests on various ailments as well as counseling and testing 12,582 persons on HIV/AIDS.
