We are a formidable team of experts

The Admin and Finance department is headed by the Executive Director with the support of one Manager and Account Assistant. The Department has the duty to ensure, as approved by the Executive Director, a conducive and efficient working environment for all staff and volunteers at Centre. It is to provide accurate information and advise the Board and Executive Director on all financial matters concerning the Centre.  

The Centre in its quest to achieve youth development and empowerment created the Youth department to be responsible for issues on expanding access to ASRH/HIV and AIDS information, education and provision of Services such as recreational, counselling, library, and health for Young persons. The youth department coordinates all youth and HIV/AIDS activities and has established Reproductive Health clubs in secondary schools within the Nasarawa State as well as the Nasarawa State University.

In addition, the Department was established to meet the health needs of young persons and women. The Health Department comprises of a Youth Clinic, Counseling Unit and Laboratory. The Department oversees the Centre’s Health Clinics in Keffin Wambai, Zherugba and Lafia. In addition, the department established and oversees Voluntary Counseling and Testing on HIV/AIDS.

The Women and Children bureau was established on 1st January 2007 in recognition of the need to protect the rights of women and children within Nasarawa and Nigeria at large. The department is positioned to provide empowerment for these vulnerable groups through Income Generating Activities, Micro credit Scheme and Educational Support for Orphans and Vulnerable Children as well as to ensure Child Protection.

 

The REMONE department was created to ensure proper monitoring and evaluation of the Centre’s projects as its major focus. The department is also saddled with other responsibilities such as baseline surveys, data collection and analysis as well as media and publicity amongst others.

The department is to deliver on the education programmes of the Centre, these include; creating awareness on the need for enrolment. Retention and completion for children and young persons, mobilise and provide education support such as payment of educational cost, negotiate foe waver, educational block grant among others. Furthermore, the department is established on the need strengthen the Centre’s advocacy capacity and facilitate community engagement. In addition, the department is responsible for the organisation’s community entry and mobilisation of stakeholders to support the Centre and project activities within Nasarawa State and beyond.
