NACWYCA Marks 27 Years of Service to Humanity

The Centre for Women, Youth and Community Action (NACWYCA) marked a significant milestone on 1st February, 2026, as the organization celebrated its 27th anniversary of dedicated service to humanity.

The anniversary celebration reflected on nearly three decades of impactful work focused on empowering women, youth, children, and communities across Nasarawa State and Northern Nigeria. Since its establishment in 1999, NACWYCA has remained committed to promoting inclusive development through health services, education, youth empowerment, rights protection, peacebuilding, and community-driven initiatives.

Over the past 27 years, the Centre has grown from a modest community-based initiative into a trusted civil society organization with a strong reputation for integrity, accountability, and effective programming. Through strategic partnerships, grassroots engagement, and a people-centered approach, NACWYCA has touched the lives of thousands of beneficiaries and strengthened community capacity for sustainable development.

As part of the anniversary reflection, the Centre expressed deep appreciation to its donor partners, government institutions, community leaders, volunteers, and beneficiaries for their continued support, trust, and collaboration. NACWYCA acknowledged that its achievements over the years have been made possible through shared commitment and collective effort.

The 27th anniversary also served as a moment to reaffirm the Centre’s mission and vision for the future. As NACWYCA looks ahead, it remains focused on expanding its reach, strengthening its systems, and deepening its impact while continuing to serve as a catalyst for positive change in communities across the region.

The celebration was not only a commemoration of past achievements but also a renewed commitment to the values of service, inclusion, and empowerment that have defined NACWYCA’s journey for nearly three decades.
